WHEN Ivor Dewdney began selling pasties around the pubs of Plymouth nearly 90 years ago he was breaking new ground – and founding a business dynasty still going strong today.

In fact, not only has his eponymous pasty-making firm remained in family hands, it has survived competition from recent rivals and is still growing having now brought back into the family business  the company once run by, and named after, brother Ron Dewdney.
